Prague Czech Republic – Old Town Bridge Clock Castle [Bedřich Smetana Vltava]

Welcome to Prague, Czech Republic (Praha, Česká Republika). Let’s take a quick walk thru Prague, visit Franz Kafka’s rotating head, then the Prague Astronomical Clock or Prague Orloj which is a medieval astronomical clock attached to the Old Town Hall. And after that we will head to see the Prague Castle, crossing the Charles Bridge.

Prague Clock Fact: The clock was first installed in 1410, making it the third-oldest astronomical clock in the world and the oldest clock still in operation.

Charles Bridge Fact: Charles Bridge is a medieval stone arch bridge that crosses the Vltava river. Its construction started in 1357 under King Charles IV, and finished in the early 15th century.

Prague Castle Fact: The Castle was built in the 9th century. It is the official office of the President of the Czech Republic. The castle was a seat of power for kings of Bohemia and Holy Roman emperors. Basically CEO’s 🙂
