The Castle is located above the village of Hohenschwangau near Füssen in southwest Bavaria, Germany. Construction started in September 5, 1869 and opened in 1884. The Castle was designed by architects Eduard Riedel, Georg von Dollmann and Julius Hofmann. If you are ever in Germany, definitely go check this beauty out!
